Know the writer

1. When did you start writing and what inspired you to write?

I started writing approximately a year back. It was just an outpour of my emotions in the form of a blog. It was well appreciated by my friends and family members. This motivated me to write further.

2. Which books influenced much of your writing?

I would say rather than books, my life experiences have inspired much of my writing.

3. What do you think about Penmancy?

I stumbled upon Penmancy accidentally. But so far, it has been the best thing that has ever happened to me. Its an awesome initiative by Kajal Kapur and Rham Dhel. The amount of encouragement and selfless guidance that is given by them is truly priceless. I feel blessed to be in the presence of such amazing writers who uplift and inspire others at all times.

Thanks to Penmancy, I have improved my expressing abilities through their brilliant writing exercises. I never knew I could even write poems, but winning the Penmuse -02 contest has instilled huge confidence in me. I wish I had joined this group earlier.

4. Which Penmancy writers you like and why?

I can’t specifically point out any writer because all the writers are amazing in their own ways. There is something to learn from each one of them.

5. What advice you can give to fellow beginning writers in the community?

I would simply suggest reading as much as possible. Follow your intuitions and write from your heart. Believe in your dreams and aspire to make them a reality one day.
