Dimple Datta is a creative enthusiast and an avid reader. She expresses her emotions and voices her opinion in her poems and articles. Most of her poems reflect upon life or social causes. She writes both in Hindi and English languages. Her poems are published in magazines like Tricity Scoop , Tacenda Publications and newspaper like Hind Janpath. She intends to weave beautiful stories in near future. Other than writing she devotes her time in painting.
She is a passionate educationist . She had taught for almost eighteen years in reputed public and convent schools. As a teacher, she headed the Literary Club and trained students in dramatics, literary and oratory skills. She was conferred upon Best Teacher's award by Lions Club,Mid-town Panchkula (International Association of LIONS CLUBS DISTT 321 A-2) in September 2000. She also got appreciation certificates twice from Saupin's School, Mohali for giving 100% performance in teaching.
She is a philanthropist. Currently she is associated with NGOs and imparts free education to the girls of rural areas. She also loves feeding and tending to stray animals.
