You see,
See me whole,
When the world sees my parts,
The parts that don’t define my all,
My love.
You hear,
You hear the song,
My soul has hummed so long,
Searching around for its echo,
My love.
You touch,
You touch my heart,
Lost it was and broken,
You give it wings, and let it fly,
My love.
You are,
A long lost dream,
Memory lost in time,
My strength, my hope and fantasy,
My love.
In me,
You’ll always be,
Shiny eyes, shy smile,
Or my words, my thoughts, in my all.
My love.

The language is simple and hence has the potential to impact many. Only in one stanza syllable count is off – ‘shiny eyes, shy smile make for 5 syllables and the line should have 6. Overall an impressive read with beautiful word images.
