A Bouquet of Flowers

A Bouquet of Flowers

A bouquet of flowers
To confess intense love
As their hearts skip a beat
Lovers steal sly glances
Until they get to meet

A bouquet of flowers
Carried with love and care
To cheer someone when sick
When no medicines help
These flowers do the trick

A bouquet of flowers
Laid down at funerals
To pay heartfelt respect
To the beloved ones
Hoping to resurrect

A bouquet of flowers
Has varied hues and shades
Blues, pinks , yellows and reds
Strewn galore on the path
Where the beloved treads
