Age Gracefully

Age Gracefully

Age is just a number, they say,
But you hide the truth and embrace lies.
Why do you deny or shy away?

Your shell will certainly wither one day,
Why don’t you accept and realize?
Age is just a number, they say.

Forever young you will never stay,
Eternity is fantasy, be wise.
Why do you deny or shy away?

Fall in love with yourself every day,
Never ever self-sympathize.
Age is just a number, they say.

Wrinkles, spots, fine lines and hair grey,
It’s okay to have dark circles under your eyes.
Why do you deny or shy away?

Age gracefully, and gratitude you pay,
To the almighty and do not criticize.
Age is just a number, they say.
Why do you deny or shy away?
