All I See!

All I See!

She plopped herself down like every tot her age,
Blue eyes, pink skirt, smile like a dazzling river
I sit beside her to see the colors play
Would the sun turn yellow and green leaves shiver?
She began her creation, happy and gay
She demanded the purple and smeared the sheet
Puzzled, what went about, I await her say
Purple shades shine bright, I accept my defeat
What is it darling, why did you spoil the page?
No, I did not, Ma’am, how pretty it looks, See!
I close my eyes, yes, purple is all I see!
