Amore Mio, Pizza

The prepping, the grating, the kneading, all done,
Red and green pepper, olive, mushroom and cheese
Chopped and tossed in with ham, sausage and bacon
With spicy herbs, they do my nostrils a tease!
A dash of red sauce, an olive oil drizzle,
Make the thin crust in the brick oven sizzle,
I lust and drool at the gooey, melted treat
Yesss, it’s pizza night and my diet’s on cheat!
