As he sat under an apple tree
saw an apple falling
Straight to the ground
Set him thinking
Why did it not fall sideways
But straight perpendicularly
It’s the centre of the earth
That has the power
To attract objects towards itself
This idea propelled
Him to formulate
The laws of gravity
This divine mind
Explored the path of
Stars and comets
The human race rejoices
That such a jewel
Was born amongst them
