Lost I was in your eyes,
The day that we first met,
Your smile I’ll ne’er forget,
Which made my love for you stretch to the skies.
In my world filled with darkness, you made the sun rise,

And found warmth in your soft embrace.

Filled with calm and peace,

Alas! I failed to see
The face that your mask hid,

And left this poor, young lass
All alone in an empty space.

Crept in the crevasse

Where you had held a place;
