Book of Memories

Book of Memories

As I caressed the pages so yellow,
Memories played a movie poignant, sad.
The tunes of the past, made my heart mellow.
Surge of moments the tiny book did add,
Though teary eyed, I felt overwhelmed, glad.
The cosy corridors I did refresh,
Those lovely handwritten notes, still so fresh,
Their fragrance, alive like the good old days.
How I wished to start again and afresh,
To relive those moments, that lovely phase.
