Walking down the path of life
I have finally arrived
at crossroads.
There is a family
I have built and raised
that now bears my name.
A career I have excelled at
stands proud as I bow
taking a break.
I look back at life and feel
I have done
all that was needed.
Now at the crossroads I stand
wanting to do
what my heart desires.
Only time will tell
the path I choose
gallant and unafraid.
