Myriad, multi-hued, conversations,
Sans hesitation, sans inhibitions,
Where differences were immaterial,
Where discourses were ever genial.

Greek mythology or Calligraphy,
Be it  Ayn Rand or Vedic Philosophy,
She treaded each trajectory with ease,
Enchased knowledge in me, in a breeze.

She breathed power in me with poetry,
Gently  healed me, without pedantry,
We needed no cafés to share our thoughts,
Our homes and lanes were adequate spots.

Like Siamese twins, we were inseparable,
Exemplary friendship, it was infrangible,
Years passed, circumstances put us to the test,
Many  conversions put conversations to rest.

Twenty years since, she’s a reticent  stranger,
Her balmy words are dreams of yonder,
‘Just another rendezvous?’ my heart susurrates,
While echoes of ardent conversations  fade.
