Hopefully this too
shall pass people say.
I sometimes wonder
what’s it that they mean,
what is such a fright?

Is it being locked
day in and out with
friends and family
we consider ours
by choice or by fate?

Is it the fear of
spending our time in
errands we despise
washing and mopping
isn’t our bucket list?

We really dread
finding on some days
little and sometimes
so much time on hand
that doubts our prudence.

Let’s learn to relax
Let God play his part
Love, Faith and Prayers
is all we need to
rout this pandemic.
