Game of Love

Game of Love

You stirred a little fire in my lifeless heart,
When I saw you that summer day,
I felt a strong emotion beginning to start,
You made my woes go away.

You entered my life like a bright sun ray,
Enchanting me with your coy eyes,
Your smile was prettier than a flower bouquet,
My love stretched across the skies.

Alas! I fell prey to your vicious lies,
My poor heart you did betray,
You failed to hear my incessant cries,
Leaving me to slowly decay.
