Gratitude to Thee

Gratitude to Thee

To Thee I owe this promising new day
He, who absolved me of my flaws; my sins
My hand He held, and showed me a new way

The moments He blessed, in the world He spins

I wavered,
And withdrew
From this world
And myself

Irreparable, frail, entrapped in fears
Forlorn I was, I had belief in none
But by my side, He stood smiling, each dawn

To Thee I owe this promising new day
