Half Known Roads

Half Known Roads

Strolling over half known roads
‘Wher’ we laughed a bit and loads
Staring in each other’s eyes sans a sound
Making it feel as if no one is around
Beneath trees, clouds, in their serene abodes

Hand in hand we walked through episodes
I couldn’t help but notice the lip nodes
Wrapping my arms around your waist
Over half known roads, our pain unloads

A wave of elation hits and corrodes
My love for you ceases and explodes
As I hold you in a longing embrace
Mouths pressed together, fingers interlace
When I am gone, you will see me inroads
On these half known roads, my spirit odes
