The child in me dreams the impossible
And lives in a world of mere fantasy
Dreams that are sublime and incredible
Obscure dreams full of unsolved mystery
So far it’s been a momentous journey
Filled to the brim with many highs and lows
Each occasion, a precious memory
A serene life I so prudently chose
Tough situations oft life did impose
And brought me to the brink of an abyss
A rainbow amidst sunshine as it rose
My life was again, a heavenly bliss
For a perfect life I’ll forever strive
With a ray of hope to keep me alive
