I’m Ensnared

I’m Ensnared

Let me play with mud
Let me get dirty
Let me run, enjoy
I want to explore
Please never stop me

Let me climb the trees
Be friendly with birds
Peep into their nests
Play with little chicks
Decipher their tweets

I am five year old
Not a tiny kid
To be watched over
I know how to count
Know all of my rhymes

Let me play freely
Catch the butterflies
Pluck the fresh blossoms
Inhale their fragrance
View all the colours

No lockdown for me
Please let me go out
Don’t fear anything
God will protect me
I want my freedom
