Imminent Spring

Imminent Spring

Sirocco advances
Bare clouds loom
Earth scorching unsparing lashes
Turbulent nuisances
Perched on gloom
Burnt branches cinereal flashes

Vivid verdure eclipsed
Glowing sun
Frost smitten days shiver swaddled
In ashen snow murk glimpsed
Echoes in chapels; sky rumbled

Wavering faith faint hope
Rime thaws somewhere soothing downpour.
Evanescing souls cope
Life thriving
Nature blooming vernal verve soar.
