Indomitable Waves

I stood still, as I gazed at those waves
Emerging obdurate, zealously
Yet submit at meeting the seashore

Haven’t I been the same way all my life?
Commencing fervently, ardently
Yet daunted each moment at foreshore

But the waves bounce back with glee each time
Evermore fervidly, zestfully
From nature I discern, be buoyant
