Choking my heart with your unseen presence,
Reminding of the loving anecdotes,
Frightening me is the eerie silence,
As I brood over the indifference.
Why did you select someone over me?
You were always my life and breath you see!!!
Here at the threshold I stand all alone,
While all others have fun with joy and glee.
Your shawl I keep wrapped around me, and moan.
