Lost Love

Lost Love

Solitary walk doesn’t
dilute pain.
Memories of life lived, don’t part.
Untying the knots, wouldn’t
Keep at bay,
love you once cherished in your heart.

You still at night ponder?
think in vain,
still await his return, lost cause.
Do you still in slumber
cry in pain?
The Name that put your life at pause.

Your eyes convey mute calm,
Latent storm.
Alas! if love had expiry!
Emotions are your balm
unleash mourn,
Free yourself from love’s slavery.
