Dad planned an exciting trip, my whole family came along,
Landed in ‘Asia’s World City’ globally called Hong Kong.
Pink flamingos, various turtles hanging out at Kowloon Park,
I found myself gaping there and my eyes shone with an electric spark.
With gut-wrenching rides, magical animals and spectacular view,
Three levels of Ocean Park delivered a lot, for us to accrue.
Rides were daunting, went swirly n squiggly!
‘The Dragon’ nearly killed us and left me wobbly.
Well, renowned Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars and Mystic Manor,
Disneyland had scenic Jungle River Cruise and Lion king festival to offer.
O Yes! Discovered the Iron Man Experience, the first Marvel-themed ride,
Disney’s Paint the Night parade and Hyperspace Mountain are their true pride.
Exquisite soft sandy coves, changing facilities, and netted areas for swimming,
Loved building a sand castle, burying my feet in the sand was exhilarating.
We reached ‘Vegas of Asia’ to explore the thrilling Macau,
We stayed at Venetian; City of Dreams was wonderful, didn’t want to say ciao.
Victoria peak is incomparable, the cable car ride and Wisdom Path unequalled,
This vertical city marks the feat of ‘Most skyscrapers’ in the whole world.
Visiting simple and serene Big Buddha was my best-ever privilege,
Spotted pink Chinese dolphins while travelling to Tai O Fishing Village.
I was capturing memorable moments, as the ferry took us to Lantau Isle,
Swaying with the waves and enjoying the intense sun, coupled with a smile.
Hong Kong has a vast diversity in culture and food,
from European to Korean to Japanese to Thai…..all this sated our mood.
My host was my adorable cousin, who made my stay enjoyable,
We roamed and played till late nights; the experience was indescribable.
Hope and wish to have many more trips like this,
Full of fun and frolic, picturesque and adventurous; it was pure bliss.
