You always guffaw at me,
Whenever I shed tears of agony.
You might be verily invincible,
And I, meek and feeble.
You manipulate and mislead,
Whenever I take the right path.
You nudge me in a defeatist direction,
When I am to practise optimism.
You manifest moral evils,
Whenever I stray away from them.
You desire to see me depressed,
While I seek tranquil peace and joy.
Oh, inner weakness, you may confine me today,
But I know that I shall be liberated soon.
