My Love

My Love

If I am delayed, will you wait, my dear?
If it rains, my love, will you wait for me?
On a hot summer day, when heat perspires,
If it is biting cold, will you forget?
Our love, spring; beating hearts, feelings divine,
If time flies, it is never late, to wait;
Showers against glass panes, press thoughts, that trail;
And summer roots the passion to flower,
Frost lulls the migrating thoughts to repose,
Hearts, will beat; for long awaited kisses;
When meeting, the stars will shine, with sweet light,
Lead our paths to virgin love recesses;
Beyond the azure skies that beckon us;
Lifting thumping hearts, to melt in true blue!
