As defeated hopes collapse with the dusk
New dawn at the horizon calmly breaks
The nascent rays sieve through the clouds so gray
Unveiling a kaleidoscope of hues
Which carry remnants of unfulfilled dreams
Manifesting a vista of calmness
Broken by incessant chirping of birds
Their soothing melodies serenading
Just enough to calm one’s tensed heart and soul
Evoking emotions that are restrained
The glorious dawn brings along with it
Possibilities of new beginnings
