Ode to My Dad

Whenever I fall, you made me stand,
For me you always took a stand,
All my dresses in my almirah new,
Bought by you I already knew,
My success a remarkable feat,
I so wish to touch your feet,
Your sacrifices woudn’t go in vain,
Reminds me your blood in my vein,
Your name follows me now as your son,
Your teachings with me like the dawn sun,
As I peep through my window pane,
I see my Mom’s underlying pain,
Cant stop my heart aching hole,
You took a part of my whole,
Your memoirs all those past piece,
May your soul Dad rest in peace.
