Words snubbed flirting ink, syllables too cry,
Blank is mind’s canvas too.

Sonnets lie listless, loud is poem’s sigh.
Heart is bewildered blue.

Strangled are my thoughts, and emotions dry,
Writers block! What to do?

Shines a covern then, coaxing hard to fly,
Promising brighter hue.

Penmancy in shining armour beams,
Spreading canvas huge.

Cajoled are frayed quills, now ink can’t deny,
Verses too take a cue.

Lifeline thus restored, 
Bards pour in reply,
Smiles life with meaning new.
