Perception

That night, stellar rocks peaked.
Meteor
Swarm spurted alive, deserting
The space, the lover streaked
Fire, colour
Set the welkin ablaze, stunning.

Gyrating orbits sneaked
At nightfall.
Quick peck, vaporising bolide.
As linear streaks keeked,
Parallel.
Eyes perceive radiating light.

Sprawled under firmament
I thought how,
Oft prejudiced mind conjures, but
Nature determinant
A fair show,
Its yardstick false precepts rebuts.
