Royal and rare, purple, is a rich man’s pride,
Creative and magical, enigma too,
Boosting spirits and calming the nerves and mind,
Yet, purple wounds place a person in a zoo,
I’m sure, dignified may not always be kind,
Overpowering fiery red starts beating,
For power, innocence, he chooses to bind,
Such display of character in ill-treating,
On such hypocrisy man enjoys his ride,
Ah, decadence in purple, also present,
Puncturing confidence, is what I resent.
