Rain and Children

Rain and Children

It’s raining, it’s pouring
Life has become so boring,
Can’t go outside to play or bike
Scene outside is alluring,

It’s raining, it’s pouring,
New tricks we are exploring
To jump in puddles, overcome hurdles,
Threatening clouds are roaring

It’s raining, it’s pouring
How much we love ignoring,
Dad’s angry gaze, mom’s rage,
Till they are exploding,

It’s raining, it’s pouring,
Dark clouds keep roaring
All pitter patter what does it matter
Like clouds we are soaring.
