’twas the day before Christmas
But Santa failed to focus
He wanted to do something strange
Just to kindle a wave of change.
“A toy for every kid is my aim
Irrespective of their rank and name
Let no child be deprived of a present
On Christmas, no heart should ever lament.”
He summoned the elves and Bushy Evergreen
Together they toiled and crafted toys umpteen
On a loaded sledge, he left
With his reindeers ultra deft.
At last his goal he did achieve
Prezzies for all on Christmas Eve
The rootless weeds, once bereft of joy
Then danced in glee, embracing their toy.
