Sarojini Naidu, A Biography

Born in a Bengali family,
Sarojini Naidu, a poet,
Freedom fighter, proponent of women rights, 
A strong orator, First lady governor,
Was an exceptional student with 
Knowledge of many languages.
Known as the Nightingale of India, 
She started writing at a young age.
She used rich sensory images,
For her lush depictions of India.
‘The Golden Threshold, ‘The bird of time’,
‘The broken wing’ are her published poetry books.
“In The Bazaars of Hyderabad “,
“The Song of the Palanquin Bearers”,
Are couple of her popular poems.
Known as India’s feminist luminaries,
Sarojini Naidu is one of 
The founders of modern secular India.
