Seeds of Kindness

Seeds of Kindness

Were you to walk through a trampled garden,
Would you care enough to stop,
Pick up the fallen branches flower laden,
Moisten the withered petals with a teardrop?

Fearing not
the thorns
that may bleed
and scar

Would you care to seek a hidden beauty,
Hoping to bloom in the warmth of your love?
Would you plant seeds of kindness in your heart,
Were you to walk through a trampled garden?
