Separation Anxiety

He wishes me a sleepy bye.
I wonder how time flew by.

Finishing maternity leave,
House, I am about to leave.

Life will take it’s own course.
Unsure whether smooth or coarse.

Connected by the precious cord,
We instantly struck the chord.

Having grown large at the waist,
With you, time is never a waste.

With a tired body and feet,
Things done for you are a feat.

As I chase my dreams back,
I assure, you will have my back.

Back to work like a new phase
Separation anxiety I faze.
