Naive and innocent,
Dwelling in oblivion,
She ventured into the world,
Cruelty unfurled.
Teddies her best friend,
An ignominious beast came under pretense,
Her dreams shattered,
She lay battered.
The pain unbearable,
Her screams inaudible,
The raging storm,
Flickered her life’s norm.
Several sleepless nights,
She cringed with fright,
Her plea for justice,
Fell into an abyss.
