Shree to Shakti

Shree to Shakti

The village dirt roads,
The concrete streets,
The bullock carts,
or shuttle trains.

In sunny nights,
or gloomy rains.
She walks in rags,
or with a Gucci Bag.

With parched feet,
or in high heels.
Pierced with eyes,
or vexing words.

When he transforms,
to a Mahisasur.
Pins down docile Lakshmi,
Gets torn apart by fierce Durga !
