The Dearest daughter…

The apple of your eye… She turns one.
Life revolves around her, your dearest one.

Time flies and now she turns five.
School for her is a new world, new life.

A few years glide by, she’s thirteen.
Excited to be, finally called a teen.
About her looks and dressing up, she’s now very keen.

Her sixteenth year, she gracefully enters.
Oh! Where was this beauty hidden all these years.

Then comes her 18th birthday.
She gets ready to leave the nest.
You silently wipe, a rolling tear.
And smilingly wish her All the very best!!
