That Full Moon Night

That Full Moon Night

Once we
Met under stars
Beautiful full moon night
She wasn’t shy but excited as
could see

Could see
Little spark in
Those round ecstatic eyes
She wanted to express, lacked words
I felt

I felt
There was something
More to that meeting but
Was not easy to guess for me
I held

I held
She opened up
Didn’t want to marry me
She regarded friendship more than
my love

My love
Just in my head
Buried my feelings too
I also chose lifelong buddy
Than wife
