The Arched Bow

The rainbow in the
Azure sky leaves me
Blithe as it bedecks
The blue yonder with
It’s prismatic hues.

It takes birth amidst
Some sunshine and rain
Arched in perfection,
It’s a sign of peace
And God’s special muse

It’s ephemeral
And teaches us to
Let go, but enchants
And spellbinds us with
It’s innate beauty

A ray of hope for
Survival lingers
In our restive hearts
That teaches us to
Hold on to our faith

When I crave for some
Luminance in my
Lusterless life, I
Steal vibrant colours
From this veiled arched bow.
