The Cycle of Seasons

The Cycle of Seasons

The cycle of seasons
Starts on a merry note
With spring, when sparrows sing,
Flowers bloom, young chicks hatch,
Giving all a greeting.

The cycle of seasons
Continues with summer,
When the sun shines for long,
And the weather turns warm-
Pleasure reigns all along.

The cycle of seasons
Extends into autumn,
When leaves fall from the trees
One by one, and are swept
Far away by a breeze.

The cycle of seasons
Ends with a cold winter,
Leaving behind bare earth,
To once again welcome
All with absolute mirth.
