The Love Poison

Elysian spring adorned, in full bloom,
My throbbing soul lay engulfed, in gloom!

The pink sakura took away, my breath,
Though I only yearn for a peaceful death!

The pit of sorrow deepens in my heart
Haunted memories of, ’till death do us apart’!

The icy words, the cold stare,
All and more, my aching love, made me bare!

Love shall cease to enchant as portrayed,
Say the bitter voices of the betrayed!

Love is just a false illusion,
That ends in utter annihilation!

Now I lie embracing my tyrannical existence,
Which seems, as futile to the world as, inexistence!
