The Unending Steps

The Unending Steps

The steps are in front of me
Stretching out further
Than can be fathomed
In both the dimensions.

I squint my eyes, yet the end
of the steps I cannot see!
Not just the length stretch, but the width too
and with no move would lessen!

I try to be free
To get liberated
Yet, the stairs would always greet
And I am not getting any seasoned.

Whom am I going to meet?
As I head, I question, I try to reason!
