Those Nine Months

Those Nine Months

The moment I conceived you
Were the happiest moments
For me and your dad.

In your first ultrasound,
You were a tiny little dot
But still close to our hearts

Days to weeks to months,
I felt blessed with the feeling
Of you growing inside

Morning sickness or nausea, swollen feet or sciatica
Nothing stopped me
From loving you

With you moving inside me
The Blissful touch I felt
Was the happiness of lifetime

Those nine months ended in jiffy,
And I was reborn as a mother
With the birth of you.
