Those Were the Days, my Friend

Those Were the Days, my Friend

Sleepless and reclining in easy chair
You’re counting flocks of sheep trying to sleep
nostalgic thoughts assault you fond and fair
Take you scaling past green mountains so steep
And Drive away drowsiness honking beep!
Playing in our Streets with a rubber ball
With teenagers, tweenies, infants and all
The ball crashes through a window! Tinkle!
Lady showers scoldings like waterfall
Ah, those thoughts your heart with pleasure sprinkle
