Leaving imprints in the sands of time
Carrying ocean of memories in our heart
This expedition of life has been sublime
Where we have perfectly portrayed our part

Roses and thorns both adorned our life track
Together we jumped every hurdle, like an amateur athlete
Circumstances weighed us down, Sky was painted black
Sometimes distinction, sometimes grace, but every exam we did complete

The journey of WE started fifty years before
Once strangers, it was LOVE which tied us into one
Emotions conspired but we sailed together with our trust ore
With you on my side, every battle was won
