Yours faithfully, Fire

You saw me in the Fire
Did you not in the pyre
You said I killed you,
Well I didn’t, gathering the proof you require.

I stood silently, to bid Adieu
without any clue,
And you stood there staring at me,
Blaming me. Yes, it’s the Soul in you.

You saw my colour in the Bee,
Also in that ghee,
Before your brothers,
Ignited my brothers to leave the ashes of Dark sea.

Blame not us, said our Grandmothers
Because we are not others.
We are the ones who saved your Sita
Yes we saved many, and have all the numbers.
