A Lovely Girl

A Lovely Girl

She is named Lovely
As she is always bubbly.
Her shiny black hair has ripples,
Whenever her mom brushes them she giggles.

One day she falls ill,
Everyone says that the cough and fever may kill.
But she shoos away the flu with smile,
She winks at it and says she is yet to walk down the aisle.

People say laughter is her life,
Eventually she becomes a pleasing wife.
No one ever sees her cry,
As she always keeps a handkerchief to wipe her trickling tears dry.
