A Suprise Meeting

Kumar was sitting at the cafe, immersed in his laptop, as he wanted to complete his target by an hour.

He ordered a cup of coffee, which was served to him, but he forgot to have it.

Kumari was watching him from a table opposite and was keenly looking at him and trying to recollect. She felt she had seen him.

She ordered two cups of coffee and sat in front of him

He did not notice her. She said softly, “ Hello, Kumar.”

Kumar was taken aback by hearing his name by a stranger lady.

He looked up surprisingly and said, “ Hello, how do you know me.?”

She said, “ At first, you enjoy this hot cup of sugarless coffee.”
He was further surprised as to how this lady knew about my taste in coffee.

Silently, he picked up the cup and started sipping the coffee as she looked at him with a simile and chuckled, “ Hey Kumaru, have you forgotten your neighbour from Ranchi.?

The cup in his hand shook, but luckily, his laptop and his files were saved. No one calls him by this name except his childhood friend Kumari, whom he admired in his childhood but never dared to let it out as they grew.

After they graduated, both went on to pursue their choice of field, he in the IT field, and she a Banker.
Their families also shifted to another town. No connection between them.

Now, after six years, they met accidentally and tried to revive the old flame. Kumari also missed him all these years when she reminisced about her younger years with him.

Both laughed loudly, shook hands, and exchanged their six-year journey. Both were happy to know they were unmarried, and a sweet
smile spread on their faces, thinking there is still a ray of hope.

Luckily, both  their  offices were in the same area, and they  promised  to meet again at this lucky cafe,  ‘Meet Curry Chef Cafe’

It was nothing less than a filmy story, the old flames meeting after several years.

They met at the cafe daily and shared their ideas and chatted and laughed, narrativeng their childish behaviour when they played together in their childhood.

They never realised their attraction
towards each other, developing and wanting to unite sooner.

Both were doing well in their work field and wanted their cute surprise meeting at the altar. They decided to surprise their parents.

One Sunday evening, they got their parents to the cafe, and the parents were happy to meet each other after so many years.

Kumar and Kumari broke the news of them wanting to be united. It was a surprise to the parents, but they happily agreed to their children's ’
choice.

The surprise meeting at the  Cafe turned out well for them.
