An Everlasting Bond
She'd so hoped for a revival.
But they mourned her girl's arrival.
She had fought for her every right.
Her li'l one shall now have to fight for survival.
The capricious years went by soon.
She rose like the increscent moon.
"Don't grow up so fast", her mom urged.
But the butterfly had emerged from her cocoon.
She missed love and adulation.
Faced some unfair expectations.
Often mistreated by others,
She was aware of her mother's tribulations.
"Forget your past; sad and gory!
Ma! We shall write our new story.
It's time you learn to live again.
I promise to help you regain your lost glory".
